About Seat Everybody
Seat Everybody is a free tool for one job: you have a list of names and some people who shouldn’t sit together, and you need a chart you can print. It’s built for people doing this once for a wedding or a few times a year for a class, who shouldn’t have to sign up or learn an app first.
Why it works the way it does
Most seating tools make you add rules one at a time through menus, picking one person from a dropdown and then another. Here you type them into the same box as the names, in ordinary words, because that’s how you already think about them. “Keep Bob and Sue apart.” Then it tells you plainly whether it managed it.
What it won’t do
It doesn’t send RSVPs, collect meal choices or email guests their seats. It can’t move your chart between devices on its own, though you can save a copy to a file and open it elsewhere. It also can’t share a chart live with someone else.
Where to start
The seating chart maker is on the homepage. Use the switch at the top of the tool to choose between events and classrooms.
